PolyGlycolic Acetic Acid Batteries
PGA BATTERIES
WHAT IS AN POLYGLYCOLIC ACETIC ACID BATTERY?
A chargeable/dischargeable plastic battery that uses an organic metal complex formed by denaturing biodegradable plastic (PGA) as an active material . Glycolic acid is made from acetic acid, which is a food raw material and polymerized to make polyglycolic acid (PGA). PGA is a substance that is completely biodegraded into water and carbon dioxide by microorganisms in the soil, is harmless to animals and plants, and has an extremely low environmental load. It can be said that it is a carbon neutral product because acetic acid, which is made from plants that grow by absorbing carbon dioxide in the air is the starting material.
